About Tim

Photography has always been a big part of my life. I remember when I was younger I was always asking for a ‘big camera’ for Christmas, my birthday, or any other time of the year I thought I could swing it.  My parents would always say I was too young for equipment that serious. I’m not sure either of us honestly know what that means to this day. I saved up for my first DSLR my Sophomore year of high school and have been learning new techniques and adding to my bag ever since.

I began shooting more consistently and taking photography seriously in 2007 and have since been working to develop my craft to its fullest. Starting out shooting literally anything I could, I’ve narrowed my market to a niche in portraits and headshots and hope to find a name and profession amidst it.

10Facts: Interactive Designer, avid iPhone user, jailbreaker, wife-lover, concert-goer, organized fellow, strobist, learner, hot-day-hater, plaid-wearer.

Gear: I currently shoot with a Canon 5D Mark II, a full-frame workhorse of a camera. My bag is carries the 35L f/1.4, 135L f/2, and 70-200L f/2.8 IS II.

Lighting: I currently shoot with a mixture of Profoto, Alien Bee, and portable Speedlights, depending on the client and project.
